This week holds the last three days of tortuous summer school. After that, I am home free...to finish all of my summer homework that I haven't even looked at. At least I won't be having a test everyday. Anyways, finishing summer school and taking a break at my church's summer retreat will surely refresh me. After I came back from the gym, I took an invigorating shower and when I walked in my room, it finally smelled like summer. It's kind of weird, because every summer has a different smell...but I guess now we're recycling. Smells are such a powerful thing. With one whiff, a whole memory is brought back to life. Anyways...here's some more spilled ink for you crazy bored people reading this.
You look at me with troubled eyes,
holding up your hands
to block the blow of another.
It is as if when you stare into my eyes,
you can read my soul.
Yet I try to hide myself from you
and create another person.
Maybe it is that person that you like.
You don't really know me do you?
I wish I could show myself to you.
I haven't yet finished this next book...but when I do, I will review it for ya'll. So next post should be fun.
