It was probably about two days ago when my future...has been set into (almost) stone. I have suddenly come to the conclusion of what I believe will be my future. I have decided to go the course of veterinary sciences. This means that this summer, I will begin to take steps that will give me an easier passage into my school of choice for this field. The school I am looking at is Purdue's College of Veterinary Medicine and more specifically, their Veterinary Scholars Program which is highly competitive. But taking that course would automatically submit me into their DVM program, in which I would be able to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. My quick decision will be explained to you later (most likely at the end of May after school ends). Even though I am only finishing my sophomore year of high school, it is definitely time that I begin to look towards my future with a more focused light. I am very excited about this decision, but keep in mind...I have been a fickle child for a long time and old habits die hard. This is just my most concrete course of action so far. So we'll see what I end up doing this summer for apps. :) On that note, I better get back to studying. Only 3 more weeks of school!
