It's Late

I know, great title right? Well, it's true. It's late. 12:20 AM to be exact, but who knows what time it really is during Daylight Savings? I'm always so confused about what time it actually changes. Life is so full...of everything both wonderful and terrible (being my grades). But things are unfolding in life, and I trust that God has a plan for me. It's been a while since I posted about the book Vienna Prelude by Bodie and Brock Thoene. I was supposed to finish reading it then...which was around last year? But I didn't actually get to it until now. And let me tell you, that was quite a ride. And even now, I am not completely finished, but I only have one chapter left, with the next book, Prague Counterpoint waiting for me. This time period especially interests me, I mean who does it not interest? It's WWII for goodness sake. And now, I am actually getting excited for the WWII unit in history class. Currently, we are in WWI, and my teacher actually has cool stories about it. She has visited an American WWI veteran living in New Jersey. Also, she's visited many of the historical sites of WWI, including the city of Verdun. The Battle of Verdun in itself was of of the more significant battles, but seeing as most battles in WWI resulted in little gain and much death, you can't really say any of them were very productive. The interesting part of Verdun was the "Trommelfeuer," or drum fire method the Germans used against the French. You should look it up if you have time! And now, for a dose of inspiration! :)
